Our Affordable Therapy Committment
Investing in your child's health and well-being is invaluable, and we understand that unexpected expenses can arise. To support families, we encourage exploring the various rebates available for our OT services. Our priority is to make therapy accessible and affordable, ensuring financial concerns do not stand in the way of quality care. Our dedicated team is here to not only provide exceptional therapy but also assist families in accessing Medicare rebates or NDIS funding to help cover ongoing therapy costs. Below, you'll find a detailed summary of the enrolment fees for your follow-up therapy course, along with the different rebate options available.
Therapy Enrolment Fees
Enrolment fees differ depending on the goals of assessment and therapy. Enrolment in a therapy course is scheduled on either a weekly or fortnighly basis and is comprised of 45 face-to-face therapy and 15 minutes of non face-to-face administrative tasks. Our OT services are charged at a rate of $193.99/hr. Initial Assessments vary in duration depending on the goals of therapy but you can expect a 2-3hr billable duration for this component.
Payment for the subsequent follow up therapy course is made per week with no upfront enrolment fees. Please call the clinic on 9381 2614 for a more specific description of fees by cilcking here: 9381 2614
Followup Therapy Blocks - 2025 Calendar
Our therapy courses run in "Blocks" which typically runs in line with the WA Public Schools term calendar except for the months of December and January where therapy runs through portions the holiday period. Our clinic runs at a capacity (like a school or childcare centre) so spots are subject to availability. Therapy is scheduled as a course rather than singular appointments so your regular spot is excusively yours with payment installments met each week to keep your spot. School holiday periods are when therapy is more flexible, whether that be a break from therapy or an opportunity to attend some holiday intensive therapy. This is discussed between you and your therapist towards the end of each block. Below is the 2025 Therapy Block Calendar:
Block 1A: Thu 2nd Jan - Tues 4th Feb
Block 1: Wed 5th Feb - Fri 11th April
Block 2: Mon 28th April - Fri 4th July
Block 3: Mon 25th July - Fri 26th Sept
Block 4: Mon 13th Oct - Fri 19th Dec
Therapy can commence at any stage during a Block or between blocks depending on our therapist availability.
Private Health Insurance
Our therapy is covered by all private health insurers. Eligibility depends on whether occupational therapy is included in your
specific plan, and the rebate received varies between funds. We recommend you contact your insurer and quote the code: '200’ for ‘standard follow up occupational therapy consult longer than 30mins’. For HBF participants please quote the code ‘250’. Quote the rate of $193.99 to gain an understanding of your level of cover for 1hr of therapy.
Your insurer should be able to inform you on your rebate eligibility from this fee. If they ask for a practitioner provider number, please contact the clinic and we can provide one.
Medicare Rebates
We encourage all clients (especially those without private health insurance) to consult with their GP to explore your child’s Medicare rebate eligibility. There are two main schemes available to you which will provide a $60.00 rebate each week from the enrolment fees listed above for up to 5 sessions. Please be aware there will still be out of pocket fees with this type of rebate. The two schemes are detailed here:
1. Team Care Arrangement ‘TCA’ (Code: 10958) – up to 5 sessions/calendar year
2. Mental Health Care Plan ‘MHCP’ (Code: 80125) – up to 10 sessions/calendar year
We ask clients to understand that Medicare sessions being capped at 5 sessions is not indicative of the expected duration
and frequency of this therapy. Your therapy course will likely exceed these referred sessions, and they are only to ease financial impact of the initial phase of therapy.
NDIS – Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) Funding
ECEI funding under the NDIS scheme is an early intervention initiative and is only available to clients first registering before the age of 6. Your child may meet the criteria for this funding, which can cover the full amount of the fees associated with this therapy until the age of 7. It is very important that you do not delay this application if your child is nearing age 6.
Your therapist will advise you to apply if they believe your child may meet the criteria. Applying for this type of funding is quite simple but can take some time to receive the funding. For this reason, we encourage clients to apply as soon as possible to avoid unnecessary delays. Funding approval is not guaranteed and is at the sole discretion of the NDIS.
