Initial Assessment and Report
The Initial Assessment runs for up to 90 minutes and is when the Occupational Therapist will observe and gather information and data from certain tasks that the child will be asked to perform. This will form the basis of further therapy if required and recommendations for care. This consult also includes a full and comprehensive written report outlining the findings. We recommend that at least one of the child's parents is present. The pricing of this consult is dependant on the reason for the child requiring an assessment. Please call for more info.
Standard Therapy Consult
The Standard Therapy Consult runs between 45-60mins depending on the type of therapy required. These sessions typically commence after a report has been prepared and received by the parents. The pricing of these consults varies depending on the type of therapy conducted. Please call for more info.
No Referral Required
Although many of our clients are referred from other developmental health practitioners, you do not need a referral to see one of our therapists. If you have been recommended to seek an Occupational Therapy assessment or believe OT may help your child, please get in touch and we can make an appointment for you.
Private Health Rebates
Our therapists are registered for claiming with all private health insurers. Check with your insurer if you are covered for Occupational Therapy. All claims can be made in our clinic on our Hicaps terminal only leaving you to pay the gap!
