Amelia brings a rich cultural perspective to her practice, having grown up overseas and experienced diverse linguistic environments. This background has fostered a deep appreciation for the value of strong, meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients and their families. Amelia is enthusiastic about delivering client-centred care and is committed to supporting individuals across the lifespan in achieving their communication goals.

Education & Expertise
Amelia holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Speech Pathology) with Honours from Curtin University and is a registered member of Speech Pathology Australia. She is committed to ongoing professional development and applies a practice-based evidence approach to her therapy. Her additional training includes, but is not limited to, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) device trials and customisation, PROMPT therapy, and clinical supervision.
Amelia’s areas of expertise include supporting the development of speech, language, social communication, literacy, and the use of alternative communication methods. She is dedicated to delivering evidence-based interventions tailored to each individual’s unique needs.
Professional Background
Since entering the profession, Amelia has worked with clients of all ages—from early intervention to adult populations—supporting their communication and language development. She has a strong interest in collaborative goal setting and works closely with clients and their families to identify functional, motivating, and meaningful goals. Amelia has experience working in multidisciplinary teams and within the NDIS framework. She has supported neurodivergent individuals, clients with complex communication needs, AAC users, and has also facilitated group therapy programs.
Core Skills and Strengths
Amelia’s international upbringing has equipped her with a unique ability to build rapport and connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds. She offers bilingual therapy intervention in Mandarin for early communicators. Amelia adopts a holistic and collaborative approach, working closely with families and other stakeholders to ensure therapy remains goal-driven and centred around the client’s needs.

Amelia is passionate about creating a supportive and inclusive therapeutic environment where clients feel safe, empowered, and heard. She is driven by the belief that every individual has the right to express themselves, connect with others, and participate fully in the activities they enjoy. For Amelia, speech pathology is not only about developing communication skills—it is also about helping clients build the confidence to engage meaningfully in their everyday lives.
